Armenian Minister of ES assures Iran quake aftershakes are not dangerous

YEREVAN, AUGUST 20, ARMENPRESS: The aftershakes of the earthquake struck Iran are not dangerous. As Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia Sergey Yeritsyan told the reporters on August 20, the local specialists found the number of aftershakes grew up to 270, which present no danger. ‘’ People do not need to leave their houses’’ Minister told, Armenpress reports. 

In the words of Armen Yeritsyan  Seismic service of Ministry of Emergency Situations is currently undertaking works particularly aimed at developing Garni located seismic centre. Besides Minister assures Ministry’s 911 service is operating in a proper way, it receives information from world occurred disasters every moment.
Over 250 after shakes followed August 11 devastating earthquake hit Iran August 11.
