Meeting of Armenian and Azerbaijani intellectuals wraps up in Moscow

MOSCOW, FEBRUARY 22, ARMENPRESS: A meeting of Armenian and Azerbaijani intellectuals was held in Moscow. As Armenpress reports citing APA-Agency, Mikhail Shvidkoy, Special Representative of the President of Russia for Cultural Affairs, said the meeting was held in a positive atmosphere.
He refused to mention what kind of issues they discussed. "It has been decided to conduct suchlike meetings more frequently. The parties intend to hold the next meeting of this format in May," said Mikhail Shvidkoy.
Armenian Ambassador to Russia Armen Smbatyan, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Russia Polad Bülbüloğlu participated in the meeting too.
The last meeting of Armenian and Azerbaijani intellectuals was held 4 years ago. Armen Smbatyan and Polad Bülbüloğlu are the authors of the initiative.
