RPA and PAP to be the main rivals

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 22, ARMENPRESS: The Republican Party of Armenia and Prosperous Armenia Party are the columns of today's political system, director of "Sociometer" independent sociological center Aharon Adibekyan told news conference on February 22. He said if these two parties become rivals the elections will pass without violations. "If two major players become rivals, it brings good result," he stressed.

According to the polls of the center, the 40% of voters know who they will vote for. He said the polls were conducted in January 2012, among 1650 adults. Forty percent of the inquired expressed conviction that the elections will pass with serious violations. About 36.6% think that not serious violations will be registered. Seventy percent think the elections will pass comparatively fair.

He said the results of the polls showed that the PAP concedes RPA with 3-4%. The polls showed that RPA, PAP, ANC, Heritage, ARF and Rule of Law parties will enter the parliament.
